Water running down the wall from the indoor unit.
Do this now
- Switch the AC off at the remote, then at the socket.
- Put a bucket under it and a towel along the wall below.
- If water has run down the wall near a socket or a switch, switch that circuit off at the DB.

Whatever you do, don't
- Do not keep running it to dry it out. It makes more water, not less.
- Do not push wire into the drain pipe. It is easy to pierce the pipe or the tray, and then it leaks even when it is clear.
Then what?
Nine times out of ten this is a blocked drain pipe, which is a small, quick job. Nobody is in danger, so it can wait until morning — but water sitting inside a wall is worth stopping today, because damp in plaster costs far more to put right than the drain does.
