Five minutes before we arrive
None of this is required. It just means the job takes the time it should, which is usually the time we quoted.
- Leave about a metre of clear space in front of the indoor unit
- Have the remote to hand, with batteries that work
- If the outdoor unit is on a ledge or a roof, tell us when you book — we may need to bring a ladder
- If there is an error code on the display, send us a photo before we come
Booking AC service and repair
You message us
Tell us what is wrong on WhatsApp, or call if that is easier. A photo of the fault or a voice note in Urdu helps us send the right person with the right tools.
We confirm the price and the time
We reply with the fixed price for the job and when we can come. Nothing is booked, and nothing is charged, until you say yes.
A verified technician comes, and you pay after
He calls before arriving, comes in a Pechkas uniform with his ID card, does the job, and cleans up after himself. You pay once the work is done.
If it is happening right now
Before anyone arrives, there are usually a couple of things worth doing. These take a minute to read.
If we find extra work, you get the price on WhatsApp first. Nothing extra is done without your yes — not by the technician, not by us.
Materials are charged at cost with the shop receipt shown to you. You pay when the job is finished, by cash, Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank transfer. If the same problem comes back within 15 days we fix it free.
Not sure what it is called?
Send us a photograph or a short video instead. It is usually quicker than describing it, and it means we bring the right part the first time.
Useful to photograph:
- The indoor unit with the display showing, and any error code on it
- The outdoor unit, far enough back to see the pipes going into it
- Anything wet: the wall under the unit, the drain pipe, the floor
A voice note in Urdu works too, if that is easier than typing.
Questions about AC service and repair
How often should an AC be serviced?
Once before the summer starts is enough for most homes in Islamabad. If your AC runs most of the day, or you are near a dusty road or construction, a second service mid-season keeps the cooling strong and the bill lower.
My AC is not cooling. Does it definitely need gas?
Not always. Dirty filters, a blocked outdoor coil or a weak capacitor cause the same complaint. The technician checks the pressure first and tells you what it actually needs. We do not add gas to a unit that does not need it.
Do you repair the PCB or replace it?
We diagnose first. Some PCB faults are a burnt relay or a loose connection and can be repaired. If the board has to be replaced, we tell you the part cost before ordering it, and you decide.
Can you service an AC in a rented flat while I am not there?
Yes. Many of our bookings come from landlords and people working abroad. Send us the address and the tenant or caretaker number on WhatsApp, we call ahead, and we send you the price and the photos after.
Do we reach you?
We work in F-11, E-11 and G-13 today and we are opening in more sectors. If we cannot reach you yet, we will say so instead of taking the booking.
