How it works
No app to download, no account to make, no form to fill in. You send a message and a person replies.
[WORKING HOURS]
The three steps
You message us
Tell us what is wrong on WhatsApp, or call if that is easier. A photo of the fault or a voice note in Urdu helps us send the right person with the right tools.
You do not need to know what the problem is called. "Paani tapak raha hai" is enough for us to work out who to send.
We confirm the price and the time
We reply with the fixed price for the job and when we can come. Nothing is booked, and nothing is charged, until you say yes.
If the job is one that cannot be priced without seeing it, we tell you what the inspection costs first, and what happens to that amount if you go ahead with the repair.
A verified technician comes, and you pay after
He calls before arriving, comes in a Pechkas uniform with his ID card, does the job, and cleans up after himself. You pay once the work is done.
If he finds something else wrong while he is there, he tells you and gives you the price. He does not start extra work and hand you a bigger bill at the end.
What the technician will do
- Call you before he arrives, so nobody knocks on your door unannounced.
- Show you his Pechkas ID card without being asked.
- Look at the problem and confirm the price before starting.
- Show you the old parts he has taken out, and the receipt for any new ones.
- Clean up after himself and take the rubbish with him.
- Tell you if he sees something else that needs attention, without pushing you into it.
What he will not do
- Start extra work without asking, then hand you a bigger bill.
- Ask you for money before the job is finished.
- Tell you a part is broken when it is not, to sell you a new one.
- Take a commission from a shop for sending you there.
- Smoke, take calls or make himself at home in your house.
- Ask for a tip. If you want to give one, that is your choice, not his suggestion.
How payment works
You pay after the job is done, never before. The amount is the price we agreed on WhatsApp, plus materials at cost if we bought any, with the receipt shown to you.
We take cash, Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank transfer. If you are booking for someone else's house — your parents, a tenant, a flat you rent out — you can pay from wherever you are and we will send you the photos of the finished work.
If you need to cancel
Message us and tell us. There is no cancellation charge if you tell us before the technician has set off. If he is already at your gate, we ask you to be fair about it, but we will not argue with you over it.
If it goes wrong
Things do go wrong sometimes. When they do, the same WhatsApp number you booked on reaches the founders directly. We would rather fix it, at our cost, than win an argument and lose a customer who lives three streets from twenty other customers.
Questions
What if the technician is running late?
We call you. Not after the time has passed, but as soon as we know. If the delay does not suit you we move the booking to a time that does, and you owe us nothing for the change.
What if he opens it up and it turns out to be a bigger job?
He stops and tells you, with the new price, before doing any more. You can say yes, say no, or ask for time to think. You only pay for what has actually been done up to that point, and if nothing has been done you pay nothing.
What if I am not happy with the work?
Say so before he leaves and he will put it right there and then. If you notice later, message us on the same WhatsApp chat. That number reaches the founders, not a call centre.
What if something in my house gets damaged?
Tell us straight away and send a photo. If our technician damaged it, we put it right at our cost. We would rather lose the money on a job than have you tell your neighbours we broke something and walked away.
Something broken at home?
Send us a message and we will tell you the price and when we can come. No charge for asking.
